Help Kat's medical costs after a bone marrow transplant.

I continue to adjust the amount needed as bills get paid or I manage to get covered. All funds at this point go towards helping pay for the copays after each appointment, test, and medications.

I have lowered the ininitial cost because of grants from a cancer charity.

I never wanted to start this page. I was praying that I wouldn't need to. My name is Kat Hammond, I am a 47 year old married, Multiple Sclerosis warrior that was diagnosed with Severe Aplastic Anemia in July 2023. My Husband Rob and I have depleted our savings over the past year trying Htag therapy in Indianapolis, Indiana. Unfortunately while initial results looked promising. I soon relapsed and it became evident that I would require a Bone Marrow Transplant.

The majority of the transplant will be covered however there will be a great deal of financial burden left. Over the last 18 months my treatments have cost more than 3 Million USD. I am very grateful that between savings and the generosity of my local charities that was paid for. Unfortunately now we are in a different state and are finding aide for our situation is increasing unavailable.

I have cherished every memory I have been given. I am asking for a chance to create more.
