Help Julie with life saving cancer treatment

Hi my name is Robert Butler,
I am raising money so that my wife can pay for life saving treatment that is only available in Germany. Its called Tace and unfortunately Julie does not qualify for this treatment in the UK because her liver cancer is due to metastasis stage 4 colon cancer and the UK only treats primary liver cancer with Tace.
- In July 2020, Julie was diagnosed with fibroids but unfortunately had a long delay with treatment due to covid lockdown. She received an hysterectomy in July 2022 because the doctors thought that this was the sole cause of all Julie's problems. However there was a more sinister culprit that was missed due to lockdown rules as Julie was left in the sidelines unable to walk and in severe pain awaiting her hysterectomy.
- In September 2022 just two months after her hysterectomy she was fighting for her life with a bowel blockage and was admitted to hospital. She received a life saving operation to remove her lower bowel and two tumours that were the real cause of her problems
- Initially we were told that the operation was successful and that she was cancer free but within a few short months the cancer diagnosis changed to stage 3 and our battle really began.
- In 2023 Julie's cancer had spread to her lung, liver and spleen and was upgraded to a stage 4 diagnosis. We was told she had three months to live and that chemo would only prolong her life by two years at best so Julie didn't initially take the chemo because she was too poorly.
- One year later Julie became extremely poorly and chemo was given in July 2024. Julie has been on chemo ever since but unfortunately it isn't working and is only succeeding in making Julie very poorly whilst the cancer is thriving. With only 10% clean liver left whilst 90% is covered in tumours.
- We know a couple of people from a cancer group that I am in who have received life saving treatment that works for Julie's particular cancer so we are taking steps to receive treatment in Frankfurt called Tace.
- Julie has no choice but to try this treatment. Her cancer markers are in the 15,000 range and her liver is dying. The only option that the UK is offering is more chemo which is not working. In Germany they treat the tumours individually but its expensive.

- A quick paragraph from our daughter Hayley: My mum is such a strong and kind hearted person. She is the rock of our family and an amazing grandmother to my sister's 5 year old daughter Willow. We are not ready to see her go and want to give her the best chance of beating this. Any help is really appreciated.
