Please Help Juan Francisco Beat Cancer!

I am helping my friend, Lucrecia, by creating this fundraiser. Here is a message directly from Lucrecia:

My name is Lucrecia Salahuddin. It is very hard for me to write this, but my family needs your help.

My son, Juan Francisco Jimenez, has received a devastating diagnosis at the young age of only 51. Life has thrown him a challenge that our family can’t face alone—he’s been diagnosed with level 4 cancer in his lungs. His diagnosis is very serious, but he is a fighter. He has a strong will to survive, is remaining positive, and is a man of strong faith. A father to a 12 year old girl, a hard worker, a great friend, and a great son, he is determined to beat this horrible disease and live a long life. He has so much more to offer and so many more dreams to achieve!

Unfortunately, the medication needed to fight this battle is very expensive, costing between $8,000-$9,000 for a monthly supply. We’ve come up with funds for the first month but our resources are running out. At this point it is not clear how long Juan Francisco will need to take medication but it will be at least several more months, likely longer.

If you can donate, no matter how small, it will go directly toward his treatment and give him the chance to keep living for many years to come.
