Members of the Ammonia Refrigeration Family are putting out this fundraiser.

Jose Mata went to work on December 2, 2011, not knowing a cooling tower would malfunction and release an ammonia cloud that would completely engulf him.

Many of you have heard Jose's story over the last 11 years; Jose survived the incident, the burns, and the skin grafts and made it back to work. Not only did Jose survive the ordeal, he also invested his time and effort with his wife to share the story with the industry so we could all learn from his experience.

Now Jose and Sandra are facing another battle; Jose has been diagnosed with cancer and recently underwent chemotherapy to fight the illness.
