UPDATE jonjo had his operation on the 28th to remove his organs the professor has managed to save a small percent of his pancreas as he felt it would be to much for jonjo at 16 to remove fully, he is going to try and get him to age 20 before full removal which then he will need artificial pancreas and funding. Hi all, this is my nephew Jonjo we have had the devastating news that he has to have his pancreas and gallbladder removed due to chronic pancreatitis, cysts, gallstones and the threat of cancer.

As Jonjo is only 16 years of age his quality of life will deteriorate after these organs are removed.

Jonjo has suffered years in chronic pain and has been hospitalised many times since he was a baby.

As a transplant is not a option due to damage around Pancreas.

We as a family along with jonjo’s professor have found a alternative, which is called a artificial pancreas this is not funded by NHS so we are asking for donations towards this.
