Hello , my name is Natalie, and I'm making this on behalf of a wonderful lady named Joni Ping for her Chemo treatments. ALL proceeds will go straight to her.

It would mean the world to her and her family if you could help even just one dollar... it adds up! If you cannot, a prayer and a share would be more appreciated than you know.

Joni went for a normal routine check up in October 2019 and her white blood count was so high the doctor said "I think you need seen by a hematologist."

Joni and her husband went and got more blood work done and the doctor requested a bone marrow biopsy. After all the pain she endured from the bone marrow biopsy, answers were comfirmed..... words they never expected to hear....Joni was diagnosed with Mylofibrosis.. which is a blood/bone marrow cancer...

A cancer that is treatable but not curable...

she immediately was instructed on starting Chemo pills twice a day for the rest of her life.

They started out $15,000.00 a month and now has reached $18,000.00.

Medicare covers most and she has a grant that helps her out but ONLY until December of 2025. She will then have to reapply and pray she gets more help. Grants are NOT ALWAYS available.

Blood clots are a side affect of the cancer she has and in June of 2023 she was hospitalized in CCU for almost 2 weeks with blood clots in both lungs. She had so many that when they went in for surgery they couldn't break them all up and they had to put her on Eliquist, a blood thinner to help dissolve them. She now has to carry oxygen at all times incase she needs it. Her husband of 42 year's got sick and could no longer attend her appts with her and he sadly passed away January 21st 2021.

Her mother got sick TWO wks after her husband passed away and she brought her mother home with her to care for her. Joni has always put people before herself, no matter what.

She cares so much for others she became a nurse for FIFTY years until she retired to take care of her husband and mother.

Sadly, a year after her husband passed away her mother passed away.

Joni gets her big heart from her Momma. Before her mother passed away, her mother asked for nobody to donate flowers or money to her funeral, but to please donate to a fund set up for Joni for her life long treatments to help her. (How sweet, right?!)

Quite a bit was raised but that money is depleting quickly with all the expenses adding up.

Joni's blood count dropped in January 2025, and she currently has to take a shot every TWO weeks that is $3,000 PER shot. $1,500 is covered but also $1,500 has to come out of pocket for each one. So $3,000 a month Joni has to come up with on her own.

Once her blood count is back up (that they've been trying to get it to do for 8 months) the shots will stop. They will still have to monitor her incase it drops again and the shots will then need to continue.

Bone pain is a side affect she has constantly been dealing with. Especially from the blood clots in her lungs that has now left scars on her lungs that has turned into scar tissue so she easily gets out of breath, which makes it hard for her to even walk sometimes, an with her blood count being so low it makes her light-headed, dizzy, and lack of energy so getting a job is not a option at this point.

This doesn't include the $70 co-pay for each appt she has to go to.

She wakes up everyday and puts one foot infront of the other.

She knows this will never be cured, or she might wake up one day and it turn into leukemia or her wake up and it be her final days, but one thing for sure is she doesn't give up and won't give up.

She continues to help anyone in need without a second thought if she's able too help, it's just who she is!

She's truly a WONDERFUL person, and if you know her personally, then I don't need to say anymore....

She's somebody that everyone wishes they had in their life.

So, I please ask if you could donate even just a dollar to please lesson the financial burden of things that come along with all the treatments and shots she needs that she soon will not be able to pay for, she would be forever grateful.
