Dear Friends of Jolly Roger,
Jolly Roger (C. C. Shaw) served our country in the Navy during the Vietnam war, since then, Jolly has serviced major Rock and Roll acts including The Rolling Stones, Grateful Dead, Pearl Jam, AC-DC, Smashing Pumpkins, Sound Garden, Foo Fighters and many more. Jolly toured with Cheap Trick, Kiss, Kansas, Styx, Prince, Ozzy Osbourne, Los Lobos, Poison, Ministry, UB40, Mumford & Sons, Pigface and he served four decades as technical director at The Metro, The Vic, The Riviera, Park West, and Aragon Ballroom plus countless outdoor festivals.
Throughout his almost fifty-year career, Jolly’s knowledge in facilitating successful concerts, his kind heart, willingness to mentor stagehands, assisting musical acts, and his massive presence transformed Jolly into an iconic figure in the Rock and Roll world.
For too long Jolly’s work was not rewarded with health or dental insurance. He is now an IATSE Local 2 Stagehand and has dental insurance but, with only four teeth left, he is in dire need of extensive dental work. Implants and jaw reconstruction have been recommended and even after insurance, this comes at great expense.
After Jolly’s many decades of helping others, I ask you to join me in helping Jolly. Let’s help him solve his dental problems.
"Always There Dental Care’s” Dr. Stiffle’s estimate to Jolly after insurance is $40K. Once work is completed, all remaining funds will be donated to IATSE Local 2’s H&W Plan. We’re grateful to Dr Stiffle and we thank you for your consideration in placing a long overdue smile on the face of our friend.
