Help baby Gracie and Jolie as an unpaid caregiver

Hi, my name is Susie, a lifelong friend of Jolie, the mother of Gracelynn. Little Gracie has been diagnosed with a large Ventricular septal defect in the bottom right chamber of her heart. This chamber is a high pressure chamber, pushing blood flow to her lungs, causing her heart to work extra hard to breathe. This poor innocent baby is unable to eat like the usual infant because she’s burning more calories than she is able to eat. She is severely underweight! Weighing about 9 pounds at 3 months old. Gracelynn was admitted into Seattle children’s hospital to have an NG tube inserted. After 5 days, she was released to go home, after her mom, Jolie, was trained to properly care for her with the NG tube (including insertion, re-taping, the feeding pump and proper doses every 2 hours). Baby Gracie is predicted to have open heart surgery in March but her mom was instructed to be her at home care giver, and unable to return to work until she has fully healed from her surgery. Her mom’s paid maternity leave is up and she can’t return to work for about 5 months. I’ve watched Jolie grow up a happy, smiley, hardworking and wonderful person and see nothing but stress now! She needs help! Please help if you can. Anything and everything is appreciated!
