Hey NYC hardcore/punk family. If you hung out on the punk or hardcore scene from late 70's to now - you know who Johnny Pepitone aka Stiff is.

He has been a permanent fixture, and a friend to many of you out there.

He was one of the first people I met when I started hanging out and going to shows.

Johnny was always friendly and down for a good laugh. He was the man with a van who transported many of us, with our gear, to our gigs and was always a helping hand to many.

Well now he needs prayers, and financial assistance to tackle the most difficult situation a person can have- and that is battling CANCER.

He is just one of many who have succumbed to this insidious disease. He did not even know he was sick until a debilitating pain made him collapse. At the hospital he received the horrific news that the cancer was in his prostate and has spread to his spine. The pain is intense. He is even having trouble getting to Hospital or even picking up his painkillers at the pharmacy.

Thankfully there are some friends who will try to help with mobility issues and errands.

As many know he has no funds to fight this as needed, and would appreciate any help.

Any amount even $5 will make a difference.

I know many face financial hardships, but even the smallest donation will help.
