Dear Friends and Family,

Our father John Highfill Sr. has unfortunately become very ill. He has been diagnosed with E. coli poisoning, and due to multiple other complications, he has now gone septic from the E. coli. His organs started to shut down due to the bacterial infection which has now caused a severe amount of scarring to his kidneys and liver. He now has started to lose progress and the doctors are doing their best to figure out what's going on with him. They are confident that he will get better but there is a long road ahead of him. Due to these unfortunate circumstances, his medical bills are going to be astronomical so we are here to ask for any help to hopefully make this burden not a financial one for our father. For those that know and love our father, none can attest to his profound compassion and care for those around him. He has always been a man with a huge heart and would go the extra mile to help anyone out. We greatly appreciate any contribution and want to thank you for your prayers and compassion.
