Hello everyone, I'm starting this fundraiser on behalf of my older brother, Joey Anderson. Joey has always been there to help his family and friends in their time of need and now he needs our help!

Joey's life has recently been turned upside down when he was diagnosed with cancer. Joey had been suffering from this horrible disease for over 6 months but now thankfully, he recently received the diagnosis and he's scheduled to begin treatment in the next couple of weeks. Joey will have to undergo 6 weeks of treatments which will include a combination of radiation and chemotherapy 5 days a week.

This horrible diagnosis has been a complete shock to Joey and our entire family as Joey has always been the image of good health. However, the doctors at Memorial Hermann Hospital have given Joey hope and a very positive prognosis. Typically, patients diagnosed with this type of cancer respond well to radiation and chemotherapy so we are staying positive and hopeful for the best outcome. We are thankful that he will soon begin to lead a normal and healthy life again.

Joey was informed that initially, he can expect to spend over $6,000 for his radiation and chemotherapy treatment alone. He will also need some very expensive medications and nutritional supplements to beat this illness.

In addition to that, Joey will be unable to work and earn a living but will have to continue to pay the insurance premiums and his daily living expenses. Needless to say, our family is ready and willing to help as best we can but we also need YOUR help!
