Our beloved, elderly, frail mother lost her home and pets in a residential fire on Tuesday February 7th. Jo Kearley, a teacher for decades in the San Jose, CA area, has been under 24 hour care for the past several years. Her four children had been working to fulfill her wish to spend her remaining time at her home with her parrots and dog, all of whom perished in the fire. She also lost all of her belongings. We are searching for new housing and care for our mother and asking for help to replace her belongings and help with costs as we start the lengthy process of rebuilding her home. Our mother's life slogan is "Fur and Feathers Forever" and we hope she can make it back into her neighborhood.
