Please help Jette Isabella walk again.

Greetings, my name is Linda Otoole and I’m creating this Go Fund Me to ask for donations for our beautiful dog Jette’s much needed surgery. I’m going to let her tell her own story as I see it in her eyes. Hi, my name is Jette Isabella and I’m 3 years old. My mommy and daddy love me and tell me I’m a blessing and the light of their lives. I love playing with my toys, walking, hose games, going to new places and especially , swimming with my mommy at the lake. I also love my grandma and all of my family and friends . When I turned 3, I started having a hard time getting up because my leg hurt. I didn’t whimper or cry though and my parents thought the hard time standing up was due to a new medication. I have a seizures disorder and I have to take medication to prevent them. I don’t like swallowing the pills but my parents say it’s for the best. My leg kept aching and I went to the doctor. I like Dr Anderson very much because he sits in the floor with me and knows why my leg hurts plus he doesn’t give me shots. I’m going to have my mom tell the rest of my story because it’s about surgery and I don’t know what that is. Thank you for your kindness and time reading about me. So we took Jette to see Dr Jonathan Anderson ( Orthopedic Surgeon)at Blue Pearl Animal Hospital. She had a partially torn CCL in her left hind leg He told us her right hind leg would probably tear as well. This was about three months ago. At that time we couldn’t imagine surgery and instead bought her a custom made brace for her left leg hoping the tear would heal. It helped somewhat for a short time. Now the hard part.. over the last month Jette has great difficulty walking at all. She uses her front legs to “drag” herself around. When we can, we lift her hind legs and she’s able to walk for short periods. I cannot express the pain, sadness and helplessness we feel. Especially when she whimpers in pain . Our hearts are broken . We know the only option is surgery. Jette saw Dr Anderson on August first and her left hind leg CCL is torn all the way through . Her right side is on its way. At this point surgery is our only option. I’ve attached his assessment and cost information in photos. Dr Anderson said Jette is a good candidate for surgery because of her young age. And that’s what brings us here. We’ve donated to Go Fund Me on many occasions and we are hoping for the first time to raise money so Jette can walk again.
