Hello everyone. My name is Tracy and I am heartbroken. My brother, married just 10 weeks ago has passed away unexpectedly after suffering a major stroke. With his passing he leaves behind his new bride Jessica and a lot of sadness and pain.

 

I am hopeful raising some money will help alleviate the stress and strain which is now being felt.

 

My brother Tom loved life and lived it as such. From a young age he had obstacles against him. Diagnosed at 18 months old with a rare kidney disease he battled his whole life to survive. In his short 34 years he was blessed with good people in his life; most of all his wife Jess. Although married 10 weeks ago they were together for 11 years. They had many adventures together including their passion for sports; mostly baseball. Tom never felt defeated even after failed transplants and many years on dialysis. He always smiled and tried to make the best of everything.

 

He was a passionate Michigan Wolverine, Chicago Cubs and Bears fan. He traveled across the country with his other half Jess trying to visit all the baseball stadiums. You could always find him in his Michigan gear on a Saturday and just this past Saturday celebrated as his Wolverines beat their largest rival the Ohio Buckeyes!

 

He loved animals and just recently added Lucy Mae to their small family. There was never a dog he didn't love, including Jess' dog Daisy.

 

Although I was 13 years older than him I learned so much watching him grow. He taught me to live every day like it is your last - he did just that. He taught me that no matter how much the decks are against you keep pushing through. His humor from the time he was little up until he left us here will never be forgotten.

 

Please help my sister-in-law properly remember her husband, best friend and life-long love. I know she will continue to honor Tom's memory. I just want to make it easier on her if at all possible. She's a beautifully loving soul and Tom couldn't have found a better life partner.
