Please help Jerry win yet another challenge!!

The support for Jerry has been phenomenal!! In his own words, he has taken all the love from all of you and placed it in his heart! Anyone who meets him, even briefly, can tell he is a genuinely kind person who would go above and beyond for anyone. However, asking for help isn’t something he does; he prefers to give it instead! We are just glad that he gets to feel the love now when he needs it the most.

Jerry and Stacy will be flying to Cancun soon because of your donations!! When you hear someone is flying to Cancun you think of margaritas and sunshine. But my perspective has changed since Jerry and Stacy found Hope4Cancer. What comes to mind is HEALING and HOPE!!

PS - The projected cost for Jerry’s treatment in Cancun is $50,000. That doesn’t include all of his medical costs since September. You might be wondering why $24,000 was our published goal, rather than the needed $50,000. GFM suggests that initial requests start at half of what is needed, so that’s what we did. Just want to be fully transparent with all of our generous donors! ❤️

Anyone familiar with Jerry understands that he is fiercely competitive. He has participated in numerous Ironman races, both full and half, along with many other competitions.

However, in September 2024, while exercising at his gym, he sustained a head injury after being struck. The following day, he experienced a seizure and was quickly taken to the hospital where an MRI was performed. Unfortunately, it revealed a large tumor, which was confirmed to be malignant . He was diagnosed with glioblastoma level four which is the most aggressive and advanced form of brain cancer. Following surgery, he had extensive radiation and chemotherapy combined. Jerry and his wife, Stacy, are strong proponents of integrative and holistic medicine. Throughout his chemotherapy and radiation treatments, he has engaged in various practices aimed at alleviating the symptoms associated with these therapies, as well as reducing cancer cell growth.

After thorough research, they have discovered a world class treatment center in Cancun called Hope4Cancer. At this center, they emphasize a holistic healing approach that values the individuality of the patient, crafting a treatment plan from that standpoint. Regrettably, this type of treatment is not included in insurance coverage and, like most medical treatments, it can be quite costly!

This is where your support becomes crucial; all donations will go directly towards his cancer treatment, enabling him and his family to recover and heal.

Through the years, he has demonstrated remarkable fitness and offered invaluable wellness advice that has enhanced our health. Of course cancer is never in anyone’s plan! But, his impressive strength positions him as a strong fighter against cancer, and with his optimistic outlook, we are confident he can triumph over this challenge!!
