Please help save the abandoned kitty

Hi, I'm Jen, and I have spent my life taking care of others, but this time, I need a little help. I am trying to raise enough money to provide care, medical treatment, and a forever home for this abandoned, sick, and injured little kitty. I have no idea how much it will cost (GoFundMe suggested the amount), but I will appreciate absolutely any contributions.
• This tiny kitty wandered into our yard and immediately stole our hearts. Once we got to know him, it became obvious he'd been someone's pet. He was social, very clean, showed no sign of malnourishment, and was quite insistent about coming into the house. Rather than roaming, he would just sit outside in the yard as if he had nowhere to go. Every evening, he sits at the back door and meows over and over. Clearly, this very young little guy was either lost or abandoned. My aunt plastered his picture everywhere, but nothing.
She is allergic to cats, and under absolutely no circumstances will she let me bring him in the house, so I fixed up a little shelter on the back porch, and she feeds him every day.
• He sometimes goes for walks in the woods and comes back terribly beaten up. Occasionally, he wanders during the day but has suffered many injuries on his head and legs while gone. A couple of weeks ago, he was attacked by something big enough to leave teeth marks on the top and bottom of the side of his head (the thin-haired spot above his eye).
• Last week, both eyes began to drain green goop, which had turned red, and one eye was swollen shut. We've tried over-the-counter drops and antibiotics, but it's not helping. He clearly needs medical treatment that she can't afford.
• I recently closed my charity and came here to live and take care of my aunt and my mother. Due to my own health issues, I am not otherwise employed, and my aunt is elderly and on a fixed budget, leaving us no money to care for him.
• It's been suggested that if we surrender him, he will be euthanized, or because they consider him feral, he would be "treated and released to the area he came from." He will not survive out there.
• He isn't feral. He is timid and sweet. He comes when he's called, loves belly rubs, and is so starved for love and attention. He is very afraid of everything. He hides when the wind blows too hard, runs and hides from thunder and lightning, and has even been startled by nothing more than his own shadow. He always goes to the exact same place to do his business, and he doesn't hunt for food.
• The shelter can't guarantee euthanization, adoption, or being released. I just want to get him healed and healthy so I can find him a home. (The only adoption offers so far involve me delivering him out of state.) Raising enough to get him treatment and cover adoption/travel expenses is my goal. (And a little cat food.)
So I'm asking for just enough help to give him a healthy and safe life.
