I am trying to raise funds for my friends Jeff and Chelsie and their family. Jeff has been diagnosed with a grade four cancerous astrocytoma in the cerebellum. He has had two 3 cm tumors which resulted in the removal of 50% of his cerebellum, which is responsible for all motor functions including speech and memory. His life expectancy 15-18 months. He is currently fighting a blood clot in the lung, excessive fluid on his brain. He is also suffering from e-Coli and a severe UTI. During his five week hospitalization, he has developed severe delirium, making it difficult for him to function mentally and communicate. When he returns home, Chelsie is his full-time caregiver, and as such, is unable to return to work. They have two biological children and have also opened their hearts and home to two additional at risk teens. Chelsie manages a household of six, and Jeff's disability checks do not cover all the bills. Chelsie has worked hard to create a loving family and has been the most excellent friend. It's critical Chelsie continue to meet her family's basic needs. Money raised will cover the mortgage, utilities, transportation, medical expenses, and food.
