Please help Jeff & Cara with bills whilst Jeff recovers.

Hey Everyone!

Most of y’all know that I have been fighting with some pretty bad health problems most my adult life and the last few years have been pretty quiet; but on July 8th 2025 I began a fight for my life. I had 3 emergency surgeries in a week because my colon “telescoped” backwards into my small intestine causing all kinds of inflammation and blood loss. I required 2 blood infusions during this time as well. I don’t remember much of anything at all, but Cara said that I was touch and go at times and a very scary situation. Due to all this I have some major bills (2 months behind because I take care of them all and Cara couldn’t access the accounts because I’m an IDIOT) . We are doing the best we can, but as soon as we get some money in the bank it is already gone to Ameren, Spire, Republic, Am Water, etc. and looking ahead to the projected amounts for next months totals and it is absolutely insane. I am going to be housebound for the next few months and unable to do my usual hustle and sell my wares, needless to say, I’m kind of freaking out about it all. I have faith the universe and God will provide, but just in case, I’m humbly, begrudgingly, and embarrassingly doing this. It’s tough times out there and we are just “middle-class” enough to get 0 help from LIHEAP, St. Vincent DePaul, or any of these places that these social workers give you info for. I know most of you have your own issues, groceries are outrageous, and power bills are an absolute nightmare, but if you could even spare a single dollar for us to get caught up to the vampires (and not the cool ones either! ) at Ameren and Spire and get them their pound of flesh, it would be a true blessing. Thanks for even reading this and sharing because I understand how tough it is. We don’t want anyone to put themselves in a position that harms them and their families either.

We love you all and thanks so much for all the support and prayers during the hardest part of my fight but my rehab and all that has just really began, but I am just so happy to be alive and at home that’s all that really matters. Rehab and therapy is going well. Just waiting for the speech therapist to hopefully work on my voice. By about 2pm it’s gone for the day and before that I sound like an odd mixture of The Godfather and Joan Rivers. I’ll get there eventually! Thanks again for all the love and support!
