Please Help Jeff Fight Cancer!!!!

Hi everybody….I’m Jeff’s little sister Beth and I am asking all who know Jeff to help support him after a gut punch diagnosis a few short weeks ago. Jeff has been diagnosed with aggressive Pancreatic cancer. This news came as a huge shock for Jeff, Emily, Ansley, Cason and our entire family. The prognosis is challenging and the months that follow will be very hard. Jeff has established an amazingly strong team of doctors that he feels give him the greatest chance of a positive outcome. He has already started this journey by receiving his port last week. Soon he will begin 4 months of aggressive targeted Neoadjuvant chemotherapy. Immediately after the chemo, he will have a very difficult Whipple surgery for removal and resection. After the surgery he will begin a 2 month round of adjuvant chemotherapy. This will be a very long, difficult, stressful and scary time for Jeff, Emily and the kids. Financially it will be beyond challenging. Jeff is hopeful to be able to work as long as his body will allow, but expects to miss 5-7 months. The cost of surgery even with insurance, the cost of medication he will need for the rest of his life, and the cost of traveling to and from South Carolina and North Carolina (where Jeff will be receiving treatment) will be astronomical. Jeff has a super positive outlook, but ofcourse his number one concern is his family and this is why we humbly ask for your support, your prayers and your love.
