Earlier this year Jeff had been dealing with horrible back pain. For months he was sent to different doctors in an attempt to find the cause of this unrelenting pain. In July Jeff was diagnosed with Stage 4 Ewing Sarcoma, which is a type of bone cancer. This extremely serious diagnosis came as a shock to Jeff, his family and friends. The aggressive cancer had created a very large tumor on his right pelvis and it was putting pressure on his sciatic nerve. Causing pain so bad that he needed to use a cane and then a walker, just to get around his house. This cancer has also spread to his left pelvis, right leg and ribs. Jeff's attitude and resolve have been incredible. This next part of his life is daunting. In August he started a 7 month treatment plan that includes massive doses of chemotherapy and radiation. It requires Jeff to be hospitalized at Upstate Medical Center for weeks at a time while he receives around the clock treatment. Jeff has the support of his amazing family but he hasn't been able to work for months. Jeff is a single father and his 13 yr old son Trey has, like Jeff, been a shining example of strength in the face of this adversity. I have set up this gofundme fund raiser to help Jeff and his family with the mounting costs of travel, medical expenses and his bills. Jeff's friends and I would like to ask you to donate whatever you can to help him during this critical time in his life. Any amount adds up and helps. You can donate anonymously. Please help. Thank you.
