Please help Jay West & his family - NET Cancer
Donation protected

In August 2020 and at 42 years old, Jay was diagnosed with stage 4 Neuroendocrine (“NET”) Cancer with a pancreatic primary which means that his pancreas is the original site where the cancer began. Unfortunately, this was six months after he was misdiagnosed with diabetes. The cancer is also considered metastatic as it has spread to his lymphatic system.
NETs are rare (represent less than 0.5% of all malignancies) and often complex to diagnose as well as to treat. Jay has lost a significant amount of weight, is in chronic debilitating pain, has had four rounds of failed chemotherapy and on February 3, 2021, had his first radiation therapy with the expectation of completing at least three more.
Any donations will go to the West family to assist with their staggering out of pocket medical costs, treatments that are not covered by their insurance, unavoidable loss of work, and other financial expenses that has and will be incurred as Jay fights this cancer.
Thank you very much for your help in any way you are able, whether it be any size donation, sharing this link to spread this campaign as much as possible within your network, or thoughts and prayers for Jay, Aileen, and their two children, Mason (15) and Mavis (2) during their difficult journey that has caused an overwhelming shift in their emotional and mental well-being.
For more information on NETs and to support NET awareness, please visit the the Neuroendocrine Cancer Awareness Network (NCAN) at https://www.netcancerawareness.org/
Please feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions. I will keep you updated on Jay’s condition. Thank you again.
