Please Help Jasper's Long-term Emergency Vet Stay
Donation protected
Hi, my dog's name is Jasper and he is a bouncy, lively, goofball of a terrier at nearly 8 years young. He's been healthy and energetic, loves hiking, going to the ocean and running on the beach. So this recent acute illness has been a total shock.
♡
We rushed to the emergency vet this week when he stopped eating for 2 days, was shivering in pain, and spiked a fever of 104+. Luckily he is safe and in good hands at Redwood Emergency Vet Clinic in Santa Rosa. With medical imaging and blood tests they believe it to be pancreatitis and swollen gallbladder, the cause is still unknown but his outlook is good. With in-hospital treatment, he can fully recover. But, without it, if I took him home today, he would die.
♡
EDIT- So far, he's been admitted for 4 overnights at $1400/night (Saturday 3/19 - Wednesday 3/23) and may need further care of at least 4-5 nights total. Hopefully the rate is lowered.
♡
I've set the GoFundMe amount to $3,000.00. Although we may need more, anything helps.
♡
I've exhausted all efforts to avoid having to ask for help, but I am desperate to keep this good boy alive and well so he can enjoy the latter half of his lifetime. He's been through hell and back and refuses to give up. I can't give up on him. Please help me make that a possibility for Jasper. I humbly ask, if you can even spare a little, it would mean the world to us.
