Please Help Jason and Amy's Family After This Tragic Fire.

I'm Eric Davis, originally from Nashville, MI. I currently reside in Louisiana but still have family in Michigan. If I had the money right now, I'd give it all to these amazing people. In the early morning hours on 01/24/2025, Amy & Jason Wymer, who are as close to me as brother and sister, lost everything in a tragic house fire. Before sun up, their home in Nashville, Michigan, caught fire with Amy and their two kids (Olivia, 9, and Cameron, 7) still asleep. Amy got the kids out just in time; however, both their dogs and all their belongings did not make it. They made it out only with the clothes on their back in below-freezing temps! Jason was out of town at the time and rushed home, but there was nothing he could do. I can't even fathom the emotions happening right now in this little family.

Over the past year, they have been slowly rebuilding a home they recently inherited in 2023. They planned on being in the home before Christmas, but with money being tight, the home is not quite there yet. As they have sunk what money they did have into the home that needs repair, they switched the insurance over to that home and were in the process of obtaining insurance on the home they were currently living in. But in the transition of insurance, the home burned down with no insurance coverage.

Their plan was, when they got to a point of being able to move into the house they were fixing, once livable, they were going to sell this house to finish the home they were moving into. It's devastating and horrible timing all around. Now with limited funds and needing to replenish what was lost, I'm starting this GoFundMe in hopes to raise enough money to get Amy, Jason, and their kids back on their feet. If I had the funds, I'd gladly give them all my money. They have NOTHING. Clothes, shoes, documents, jewelry, heirlooms, toys, beds... everything is gone. PLEASE help me raise enough money to alleviate some of their stress, replenish some of what they've lost, and get them into a house. This disaster, which I thank GOD that Amy and the kids made it out safe, is something nobody should endure. Please pray for the kids; they don't understand why this happened, and all they know is their beloved dogs are gone, along with all their toys and belongings.

I want to tell y'all one more thing. I feel absolutely disgusted with myself and this situation. In 2021, when a storm devastated Louisiana, Amy, Jason, and Jason's brother Justin with his wife Christian rushed to Louisiana from Michigan with supplies. Our home had $200k in damage, and they were here INSTANTLY to help. I should be there right now but don't have the means at this time to go. Makes me sick. These are amazing people with the biggest hearts, going through a horrible situation in an already rough time. They would do anything for ANYBODY. Anything you can do to help these people get back on their feet, they would be forever grateful, and so would I. So please donate if you can. This is the first GoFundMe I've ever done, hopefully the last, so I hope it works.
