Please help James with his fight against Leukemia

Dear Family and Friends

I want to start by thanking you for taking the time to read this. I wanted to share with you how with the blink of an eye our lives as a family changed this past Christmas. On December 23rd my cousin Yuri who I consider my sister received news that No mother wants to hear. Her son James ,who is 13 years old was diagnosed with ( acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL). James is your typical teenager who loves to play sports, specially Basketball, a loving son and over all an amazing soul, Funny and very charismatic. Unfortunately, this will be a long road ahead due to a two year treatment. We have already seen some changes in his personality due to the chemotherapy. James wont be able to attend the rest of his school year because of his weak immune system, his mother will be taking medical leave from her current employer and will only be paid a small percentage of her salary for a couple of months. Any donation will be greatly appreciated.

Quiero empezar agradecándote por tomarte el tiempo de leer esto. Quería compartir con ustedes cómo con un abrir y cerrar de ojos nuestras vidas como familia cambiaron la Navidad pasada. El 23 de diciembre, mi prima Yuri, a quien considero mi hermana, recibió noticias que ninguna madre quiere escuchar. A su hijo James, que tiene 13 años, le diagnosticó con leucemia linfoblástica aguda (ALL). James es tu típico adolescente al que le encanta practicar deportes, especialmente el baloncesto, un hijo cariñoso y, sobre todo, un alma increíble, divertida y muy carismática. Desafortunadamente, este será un largo camino por delante debido a un tratamiento de dos años. Ya hemos visto algunos cambios en su personalidad debido a la quimioterapia. James no podrá asistir al resto de su año escolar debido a que su sistema inmunológico es muy débil. Debido a esto, su madre tomará una licencia médica de su empleador actual y solo se le pagará un pequeño porcentaje de su salario por algunos meses solamente . Cualquier donación será muy apreciada.
