Please help James with his fight against Cancer

August 5th 2021 James was diagnosed with colon cancer. On 9/14 he went and had the cancer removed and thankfully without any complications.

However on 9/23/2021 he called his wife, Monica, and asked her to call his surgeon for some antibiotics for what he thought was a UTI from the catheter that was placed from surgery. James was in severe pain and desperate for relief.

 

After a call to James’ surgeon he wanted them to meet him in the ER and do some bloodwork and a CAT scan.

 

Unfortunately his recession had torn and the The surgeon had to go back in and place a drain tube and a colostomy bag. He also had to have a drain from his stomach through his nose. Friday afternoon, they had to go in for emergency surgery NUMBER 2; James had went septic. They cleaned him out and did not have to place any more drainage tube‘s, but he came out of that surgery on a ventilator and sedated due to his pain levels, and his vitals not maintaining stability.

He stayed on the ventilator all throughout the night with no change in bp or HR, which was not good news. Monica received a call again, they were taking him back to surgery AGAIN. This time telling her they were seeing what they thought was him having heart attacks. He was going to the Cath Lab and meeting his cardiologist team so they could fix his heart before it failed him. Praise God he came out of that surgery good, because his heart actually did look good, however there is swelling.

James is still fighting. He has a wife, and two beautiful daughters. They have lost more than 60% of their income and this has exhausted their savings.

 

The Wilson family needs your help, this fight will be ongoing. During the surgery 20 lymp nodes were removed, 5 being cancer. He will now face chemo when he is stable enough.
