Latest update 5/9/25- James has been on an upward trajectory (praise God!) however he has a long road still to go. He is going in for surgery again tomorrow. His infection is gone but his wounds are still not healed (hence more surgery) and his kidneys, while starting to work again, are not anywhere close to where they need to be. 

Michelle has been getting a ride to and from the hospital daily with the baby and staying as long as she can. 

They did find out that James is covered by Medicaid! So they shouldn’t have medical bills to pay, just need money for their everyday bills and life!

Update: James has been transferred to St Al’s where he had surgery for his infection and a kidney biopsy. With all the medication they used to try to fight his infection, it damaged his kidneys. They have been doing dialysis on him. He will be in the hospital till at least the end of the week. Waiting for results!! 

Also, Michelle went into labor yesterday and Baby J made his entrance to the world early this morning! 

Mommy and baby are doing well! 

They can use all the help we can provide!!!

Hey everyone!

Our son, James is in the ICU with a severe infection and possible surgery.

We don’t know when he will be able to go home and, once he does, it will take time for him to recover.

Michelle is at the end of her pregnancy and she is unable to work for the next few months.

We are hoping to raise money for their bills and everyday expenses so they have one less thing to worry about.
