Talia has devoted the last few years of her life to helping fight for the working class by running for Congress and challenging the establishment. After being knocked out of the 2018 race, she was involved in a car accident while on the job. She cares for a disabled attorney who suffers from a rare mitochondrial disorder and is in a wheel chair. During the accident the chair hit Talia. She suffered a mild Traumatic Brain Injury, an injury that cant be determined, torn rotator cuff, plus multiple herniated and bulging discs. Her employer's workman's comp insurance has denied her claim forcing her to seek legal representation.
Talia and her family have had to pay out of pocket for her medical care due to her personal medical insurance denying coverage because it's been labelled an "on the job" injury. With no income and only the help of her family, she's struggling. She's unable to purchase the medications she needs and is struggling to get by. She needs our help until she receives workman's comp benefits. From what she's learned from her attorney, this could take months or longer.
With the help of the right doctors, she will return to her work and again be able to give back to our community. In the mean time she needs our help so she can heal and recover from this accident.
