Please help, I need a lightweight mobility scooter

I changed my name officially to Pudsey Bear about 16 years ago and it raised £4000 for BBC Children In Need, this is why my name here is Pudsey Bear. Below is my story...

I arrived by ambulance in November 2023 at Glan Clwyd Hospital, North Wales, UK in excruciating pain having fallen 7 foot down the stairs. They immediately took me out of immobilization, put me in a wheelchair and left me in the waiting room for hours. They then xrayed me and said I was fine and sent me home.

I then begged for help for the next 6 months in terrible pain and nobody listened. I ended up back at A and E at the end of May 2024 as I was struggling to walk and had sensory, bladder and bowel issues. This time they spotted that I Had broken my back in November 2023. They again sent me home in terrible pain and struggling to walk and said that even though broken, my spine was not causing my issues.

I recorded the above video 3 weeks later on 22nd June 2024, this was just before I had to purchase a mobility scooter and wheelchair. I later went on to discover that as a result of trying to function with a traumatic and horrifically painful spinal fracture for months upon months with no help that I had developed Functional Neurological disorder. This neurological disorder means that everywhere below the site of my fracture feels as though I am being electrocuted at a low voltage for most of the day, these symptoms really ramp up when I try and do a normal days activities. My legs also become very weak, I become very unstable and the bladder and bowel issues increase also.

The only way to attempt to keep it at bay are to do as little as possible, I do have to spend a lot of time lying down. I pay the price badly if I spend time walking. My mobility scooter is very heavy and I find it hard to take it apart because of my spine. My mobility scooter is too large to even take on the bus, and all of this means my life has become very restricted.

I had a day out with my daughter recently and did some walking, the symptoms came on very badly that evening and I was awake all night feeling as though I had electricity running through me below the site of the injury and my legs were weak, wobbly and useless for days. It is a terrible condition.

So far I have received no treatment for either my fractured spine or this neurological condition. It is now 18 months since I fell down the stairs. This is such an important thing to know... it's so important to not be left in horrific pain, this is the most likely trigger for Functional Neurological Disorder. If the hospital had identified the fracture (which even I can see on the xray), then my fracture would have been treated with a brace, strong pain medication and strict instructions regarding restricting certain movements etc to allow the fracture to HEAL IN A TIMELY MANNER. This would have prevented me developing Functional Neurological Disorder. A light weight and collapsible mobility scooter would really transform my life. Thank you so much for any help. The mobility scooter would open up a whole new world for me, just being able to reliably get out and about to the dream of starting my traveler channel on youtube for disabled solo female travelers.
