Please Help Hurlin

My lifelong friend Hurlin is in the hospital fighting for his life. First of all, he is handicapped and cannot walk. Instead of being a burden and soaking up assistance, he worked for Dell remotely since his accident, while raising his 8-year-old son. His apartment complex had electrical problems and instead of fixing it (he has several service tickets turned in), they chose to try and patch it, costing him days and days of work. As a result, he got laid off from Dell. He has been struggling to pay rent and keep his child fed since.

The stress has finally hit him to the point of a heart episode and now he is being held in the hospital because his blood clotting issues are giving him trouble because he couldn't pay for his medication. All this while he has been served an eviction by the complex and he and his son will be thrown on the street by the time he gets out of the hospital. Please, I don't ask much but if you can help my buddy out. We have to pay his rent for the month then figure out how to get him either out of that place or something. And if anyone knows of any remote work for a great computer and IT guy, let me know.
