Saving Hoss Leg

Donation protected
We are in the worse situation I could imagine. Hoss is our 7yr old mastiff that we’ve had since 8 weeks. Monday night he went to bed fine, and when he woke up Tuesday morning his leg was twice the size of the right. We rushed him to the vet, they shaved it and didn’t see anything. They gave us a injection, along with antibotics and sent us home. We’ve been giving him meds faithfully along with Epsom salts. He hasn’t eaten in 4 days, he barely drinks and he doesn’t want to walk at all. We have to help him get up. Fast forward to today, his paw looks worse so we rushed to the vet. After several X-rays, bloodwork etc they still don’t know what caused it. They think maybe a spider or a snake bite but the swelling is too much for him to see. His temp is 105.4, his heart rate is 160 which is very high and he’s in really bad shape. Our Dr would like to hospitalize Hoss so he can be underneath care around the clock, receive IVs constantly, antibiotics & be given medications as they see fit. The hospitalization can help his leg and the swelling so he doesn’t loose his leg. After sharing his story for insight on several mastiff sites, a lot of people wanted us to create a GoFundMe page so they can support his journey. We appreciate prayers more than anything, but to those who want to donate financially we are grateful for the support y’all are showing hoss. We just want our boy taken care of and in no more pain.
