Due to the recent and unexpected loss of our sister, Cassandra Melendez, we are respectfully asking for assistance with the funeral costs. Within the last year, Cassy was challenged with a number of health issues. These issues eventually exhausted her limited fixed income and any available resources for end of life events.
Cassy was a light and inspiration to many in the church, school and community. She gave to each of those causes whole-heartily and freely. Cassy loved her family, friends and students all with a fierceness that many won't see again.
We invite you to join us in celebrating a life of love, family and faith. Cassy will be missed by all, but her memory will give us comfort whenever sadness visits. Thank you to everyone who can donate, but also everyone who is taking the time to honor and memorialize Cassy in their own way.
