Please help his daughters with funeral expenses

Our beloved father, Corey Vetter, recently passed on January 12, 2022. Dad was a wonderful brother, father, friend, and the BEST grandfather. He touched the lives of those around him with his stubborn self!

 

Dad dedicated his life to Aprecia and I. He loved his grandchildren Myla, Owen, Alexa, and Rylie. He was a stubborn, hard-headed navy man! But once you broke his guard down, he was the biggest teddy bear with a HUGE heart. Dad enjoyed being in Texas. He loved how he could always go to the beach and catch some crab hahaha. He was not the greatest; a few falls here and there, but hey, he enjoyed it!

 

Growing up, Aprecia and I never got along with dad. Let's be honest, we were teenagers and wanted to be independent. But as we grew, our relationship with him grew stronger. Dad is my best friend. Dad is Aprecia's best friend. I planned to get dad here to South Dakota to watch and take care of him as Aprecia would be moving when her husband finished his training with the Army in April.

 

He'd call and always wonder about the grandchildren, how they're doing, what they needed or wanted. Any chance he got, he'd spoil them rotten! :) The kids loved grandpa just as much as he loved them.

 

We are all devastated by Corey’s loss and were not prepared forany of this. We are still in shock and feel this is all a dream. We want to give dad the memorial he deserves, to honor his memory and say our last goodbyes.

 

I am currently asking for donations to help cover the cost of Corey’s cremation services. Dad did not have any life insurance, and so the cost of everything relies on Aprecia and I. We still need to figure out things in Texas to sell his home and truck.
