MASHIMARO AOZORA
Mashimaro Aozora is a virtual YouTuber, also known as a virtual character & entertainer on the YouTube platform. He dreams to be a part of the media entertainment industry, whether it be continuing to be a VTuber, a voice actor, a video game streamer, or anything else, but his end goal is to bring smiles to his audience.

Currently as a soft-debuted VTuber, he has made some money towards his goal of moving to Japan and achieving his dreams of working in the entertainment industry, which is not limited to being a voice actor. The money has not been used on anything else, and is saved purely for this end goal so that he may bring smiles to others.

Aozora has genuine goals, and wishes to bring more positivity to the world, and he also wishes to grow and succeed. However, his growth is being held back by the environment he is currently in: he has lived under the roof of an abusive family for many years, and his skills have failed to be recognized by professional agencies due to certain competitive biases. Compounded together, the immense stress and lack of support led him to attempt a suicide.

HIS ABUSE
For more than at least 20 years, the actor behind Mashimaro Aozora has lived under the roof of an abusive family. His mother has been completely unsupportive of his ambitions, and thinks of him only as a nuisance. His father has physically and sexually abused Aozora in his earlier ages, and was not punished for these crimes due to emotional pressure Aozora had received from them and close relatives who heard his outcry at the time. Thus, Aozora has also been through mental abuse throughout his life, keeping to himself and his room for many years with little exposure to the outside world.

However, he wishes to better his situation. He wishes to make people smile through his ambitions. He wants to escape what is binding him, and be the entertainer he has always dreamed to be.


ATTEMPTED SUICIDE AND LACK OF FAMILIAL SUPPORT/CONTINUED ABUSE
On 01/22/2021, Aozora stabbed his stomach and slowly bled on the floor of his room. He was found by his parents and rushed to the hospital in critical condition. The news of this was eventually passed from his mother to Aozora's long-distance girlfriend. The mother blamed his girlfriend for, "making a mess" of this situation, and did not even care directly about Aozora's condition as he was in the hospital. She failed to deliver any updates on his recovery and only pushed to blame Aozora and his girlfriend for his own attempted suicide. The mother told the girlfriend that, "she did her a favor" if Aozora failed to recover from the situation. There was absolutely no word from the father.



Aozora was allowed to go home in a stable state on 01/24/2021, when the news finally reached the rest of his close friends online. However, thoughts of another suicide is still in consideration for him, and he refuses to seek additional counseling from professional services after multiple poor outcomes from previous counselors.

(In Aozora's words) Even after reaching home, the mother victimizes herself and has complained to him "what a mess he made" without any regard for his physical condition. It is unknown what she plans to do with him at this present time, but for now, Aozora is able to rest his injuries.


THIS MONEY
The money received for this fundraiser will go towards Aozora's funds to move away from his abusive household, and live in another country with one of his closest and reliable friends, while also using the funds to pay for tuition towards a premium media/entertainment university.

The skills gained from his attendance will go towards bettering his entertainment abilities, and being in a safer environment will allow him to focus on bettering his entire self.

A minimum $10,000 is necessary to prove to legal authorities that Aozora has the financial capabilities to permanently reside in a new country. $2000 will be used as additional residential moving relief costs, such as food, utilities, furniture needs, backup savings, etc.

Not a single penny will be wasted on anything else that does not contribute to his move, as the primary goal is to first ensure Aozora is safe from continued harm.

Once the goal has been reached, it will personally be given to Aozora, and his closest friends will ensure the money is only used towards moving out of his country. Everything will be kept a close eye on until he has arrived at his friend's residence.
