After multiple doctor visits and tests, an MRI revealed a 2-inch tumor on Brian's brain.  On Monday, November 1st, Brian endured a full day surgery to remove this tumor and had a remarkably fast recovery.  Sadly, however, the pathology results from the tumor tissue came back as stage 2 astrocytoma.  Doctors tell Brian this is serious and treatable.  If you know Brian, you know that he is the kind of person that would never burden you with his issues, rarely complains, and navigates this world with an incredible sense of humor and joy.  Brian now faces radiation and chemotherapy to help control the remaining parts of the tumor.  It is unclear how this severe treatment will impact his body and mind.  Brian will be unable to work for at least several months during and after treatment.  On behalf of Brian's family and friends, our goal is to provide additional financial support that can be used for his care during the course of his treatments.  Prayers and positive thoughts are equally appreciated.
