Hi, my name is Tori and I’m the parent of the 2 best fur babies in the world! Harley Rey is a 1.5 year old Rottweiler. Thursday 4/21 we took Harley to the vet because we felt she had been acting weird. What we thought would be an easy visit turned into her needing to be rushed to ACCESS emergency hospital in Woodland Hills. Harley Rey had 2 liters of fluid removed from her chest and was kept at the hospital over night for observations and to undergo testing to try and determine why the fluid built up in the first place. Harley went back in for a check up with our primary vet on 4/28, where unfortunately x-rays showed the fluid had returned. Yet again, poor Harley Rey got another liter of fluid drained from her chest. As of now, we still don’t know the cause of the fluid build up. If it is back by her next appointment, we’re looking at a CT scan for possible diagnosis. For any of you that know Zach and I, you know our fur children mean the world to us. We appreciate everyone who has reached out thus far, and want to thank everyone who is willing to open their hearts and their wallets to help us and our family.
Mahalo from The Brazeal’s.
