Hi, I’m Haley! I am my mother’s only child. My mom has been through so much in her life, but over this last year, I have finally seen her truly be able to breathe. She settled into her own space and dove into her role as Nana. However, just before Thanksgiving, she received a notice that took that breath away, and now she has only been riddled with worry.

My mom is disabled and medically and physically unable to work. Her SSDI benefits were recently terminated in error and are currently under appeal. While we fight for reinstatement, I am raising funds to help cover her rent and basic living expenses so she does not lose her home. All funds raised will be used solely for housing during this time.

I am asking as a daughter who desperately wants to help her mother, her parent. I am imagining the look on her face if I can tell her that her rent is handled while we work through this speed-bump.
