Hello my name is Jim and I NEVER thought I would be on here but my dear cousins wife has had a terrible tumor just removed from her head. They are being told that a second more dangerous surgery may be required. This surgery will require them to take all of her inner ear and cause her to require a cochleae implant or possibly deaf. Her husband is a volunteer firefighter and a construction worker on the side. They do not have the greatest of insurance to cover the expenses.
She is a wonderful mother and wife they have 2 kids a young boy, and their teenage girl. She is a stay at home mother who dedicates her time to her children and helping others. Her husband hasn't been able to work since he is the one who must take her to her doctor's and down to her surgeon which is more than 4 hours away. Their son needs extra care he has Autism and since she is the one that cares for him while her husband works. Its difficult for them to leave him with anyone. He does not fair well with other people very easily. They were reluctant to do this, but I convinced them what would it hurt to try.
They are just trying to cover expenses' of the surgery and the cost of transportation. They have set the goal at $15,000.00. They hope this will cover a large amount of the costs. Since they have not received the first bill yet. She just had her first surgery 1 -1/2 weeks ago. If she doesn't improve they will have to go for the second surgery causing her to be possibly deaf in one side.
