Please help Gracie with her Emergency Vet Bills
Donation protected
Hi, My name is Cindy,
On Friday morning Gracie suddenly became ill, vomiting and was bleeding profusely from her nose as well as coughing up blood.
I rushed her to the Emergency Vet Hospital where she was given antibiotics and an appetite stimulant to make her eat. Since Friday morning I was having to syringe feed her and this morning (Sunday) she started a rapid decline.
She is currently in an oxygen tent and on a drip to keep her hydrated and balance her electrolytes. Tomorrow she will have to have a CT scan to see what is happening in her nasal passages and determine next steps.
So far I have paid the vet $4700- and just received a revised quote asking for another $1,800 to $3,000- because of her extra therapy needed.
Because of Covid I am now working a job just above minimum wage and just can't afford this on my own.
I know times are tough and I have no right to ask, especially since I received so much support when my cat Allegra was injured and had to have arthroscopic surgery on both her back legs but I just can't see Grace in pain and not do all I can.
I feel like a failure for not being able to handle this on my own but the fact of the matter is that I can't and Gracie needs help. I will be posting her vet bills as soon as I figure out how to blackout my personal info, technology is not my friend.
