I’m a child with big dreams tucked inside a small body. But my journey is a tough one… I’m battling Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD), a muscle-wasting disease. This condition weakens my muscles day by day, stopping me from doing things as freely as my friends.

To regain my health and chase my dreams, I need your help. Thanks to this campaign launched with the approval of the Governor’s Office, I’ll be able to access life-changing treatments that will improve my quality of life. **How is DMD diagnosed?**

- Diagnosis is typically made through physical examinations, family medical history, genetic testing, and muscle biopsies.

**Is there a treatment for DMD?**

- **YES, THERE IS A TREATMENT FOR DMD.** It is treated with **Elevidys Gene Therapy**. The targeted amount for treatment is **$2,901,701**, and donations are being collected through accounts in Turkey and Europe.

**How does DMD progress?**

- The disease usually begins in early childhood, and muscle loss increases as it progresses. Loss of walking ability often occurs during adolescence, and life expectancy may be limited.
