Hello, nice to e-meet you, I just wish it was under better circumstances.
My cousin Glyn was diagnosed with stage 2 prostate cancer in September 2020 at only 44, after six months of investigations.
He was due to have an operation to remove the cancer, but sadly this has twice been cancelled because of COVID pressures on the NHS.
As Glyn’s doctors can’t say when the op will be carried out, I have set up this Go-Fund-Me to raise funds for the op to be carried out privately, as time is of the essence to reduce the risk of the cancer spreading.
I appreciate that times are tough for everyone right now, but any donation at all would mean so much to Glyn and his family.
Glyn has three kids with Shelley, his partner of 22 years, and runs his own garage door business (Telford Up and Over Doors).
Should the operation be carried out on the NHS before the target is reached, the money will be used to support Glyn and his family while he recovers and is unable to work.
