Hi everyone, this is our baby, Haku.

Everyone close and dear to me knows how important Haku is to us and how deeply he is loved. He means everything to our family. He is the sweetest, most playful boy, and his presence truly lights up our home.

Haku is only 3 years old and is suffering from megacolon, a condition where his colon no longer functions properly. Within the past three weeks, he has had three invasive de-obstipation procedures, which has been heartbreaking, overwhelming and financially straining for us. We’ve already spent thousands on his procedures. At this point, he now requires emergency surgery, a subtotal colectomy, in order to survive and have a chance at a normal, comfortable life.

Our family has already been through so much this past year, including my father’s heart attack and quadruple bypass surgery. Asking for help is not easy, but we are humbly reaching out in hopes of saving our baby.
