Please help give my mom a proper goodbye

Hey everyone my names Dylan Gowan my mom Kerry Gowan unfortunately has lost her battle to her many health issues she had yesterday at 6pm at riverview medical center. She lived a long life helping her community in highlands and unfortunately we need help giving her a proper goodbye. She passed exactly 4 days after her 60th birthday on June 30th leaving all of our family in shock as well as scrambling to make sure she has proper services. We are looking to raise funds to give her a proper memorial and pay for cremation so all of her loved family members have a piece of her. We also are looking to have a celebration of life a few months down the road and this fundraiser will go a long way to helping us do that for her as it’s what she would’ve wanted. My mom spent 15 long years as a nypd k-9 officer then in 1996 she moved here to highlands our home and raised 2 wonderfull kids me and my sister she was always a loving and caring mother to all of our friends and neighbors. Soon after I hit 9 years old my mom joined the township first aid squad and spent about 10 long years volunteering her time for the community making tons of new friends and mostly seeing old friends. All the while she was also doing animal control and doing whatever she could to bring everyone’s pets home as well. She was known by 1000s of people and loved by all i appreciate any and all help provided we would really love to make this special for my mom. I could go on all day about how special my mom is but for those who got the special opportunity to meet her absolutely knew how amazing she was in this community among her friends this is a very painfull loss.
