Hi there, I'm Daz and I am fundraising towards transport for myself.

Sadly I have some severe back issues which require surgery and my ability to walk any distance is ever decreasing.

I had an Electric Scooter I used to travel to and from work and to and from the shops etc. as walking any longer than 10mins is excruciating for me now, being at work I'm not struggling as much as there's not a lot of walking involved in my job

Sadly though, my Electric Scooter was stolen and this has left me in an awful place with my mental health as well as physical health as I used to use it in place of a mobility scooter, living in an upstairs flat and sometimes having to transport it up and down the stairs means an actual mobility scooter is sadly just not doable for me right now.

I've had to realise just how disabled I actually am in this past week and it's been a very bitter pill to swallow.

I'm unable to afford to replace the scooter by myself as we're trying to set money aside for when I inevitably have to take time off from work to recover from surgery so my Wife isn't under too much pressure to provide for us and our little girl.

It's beyond embarrassing for me having to do this but honestly I'm just at a loss

I haven't heard anything back from the police despite having connections for the CCTV and honestly I just think I have to accept that my mode of transport that gave me the independence I desperately need, is gone
