Help Give Mark Allan Deese a Proper Farewell PLEASE

My name is Freedom (Melissa Schultheiss) and I'm raising money to provide the necessary expenses to allow my love & life partner, Mark Allan Deese a cremation, proper burial, and memorial service and/or Celebration of Life.

Mark passed away suddenly on 1/3/25 at only 56 years old. He hadn't planned for this to happen so early in his life, so he had no will and nothing in writing to ensure that his wishes were carried out as he and I had discussed. Over the past several years, Mark had been supporting me, both financially and emotionally, through my heart surgeries, complications, and other medical needs.

Any assets that he had were placed in his mom's estate, frozen in a trust to directly benefit his underage son. They won't be accessible for three years, when his son is an adult. So there are no funds available to ensure Mark's remains are taken care of. With all that Mark has done to help so many people, he deserves to have his wishes carried out as he wanted. If funds are not available, the medical examiner will give him a pauper's burial, which anyone who knows Mark would agree that he deserves better. I know he does, and would like to give him something more. I can only do that with your help. All funds received in the GoFundMe will be used to cover expenses of carrying out Mark's final wishes.
