This little friend is Jasper. She's a 3 year old bearded dragon who's been struggling to fight off infections since the day I brought her in around 2 years ago. She was doing well, all things considered, but I'm here today because she's taken a turn for the worse, and... I simply can't afford the bills anymore.

Jasper was diagnosed with a reproductive disease as of December 1st, 2025. She needs to be spayed and given a whole slew of different medications and treatments for a chance to get through this. If she does, she'll have many more years of happy memories and hearty meals waiting for her. But, as of right now, without the funds I need, I have to consider euthanizing her. At her current rate of decline, she likely has anywhere between 2 to 6 months left.

I know she's just a bearded dragon. And it's perfectly fine if you don't want to, or can't support her. I honestly don't have high hopes to get as much help as I need, but I can't just give up on her. Jasper's been so strong for so long now, after being so poorly taken care of by her last owner, I would regret it forever if I didn't at least try. She's such a precious little one to me and my partner, I don't know if I could bear seeing everything she's gone through just go to waste.

Jasper's vet bill came out to just under $2900. If I somehow get enough support to hit my overall goal, the extra hundred or so will go to long term care. If the goal isn't reached, anything raised will likely go to her euthanasia (if that's how this website works; I don't know).
