Please Help Give Donna Her Final Wishes ❤️

Our beautiful Mum Donna, has been bravely fighting Stage IV Metastatic Melanoma for the past 22 months. Enduring Immunology Treatments, Surgeries, an intensive Clinical Trial, and Chemotherapy; all while holding onto the hope of staying with her four children and being a Mum, for as long as possible - especially for her eldest son who is Severely Intellectually Disabled with Severe Autism , needing 24/7 care.

On May 6th 2026, our world shattered.
Scans revealed the Metatastic Melanoma had spread to her brain in 21 places.
With Donna now being given only 12 weeks to live.

Mum has always said her greatest achievement in life is her 4 children and being a proud Step Mum to 2 beautiful boys.
Mum is the hardest working, most determined and loving woman we will ever know. Teaching us what real love looks like - and that lesson will stay with Jake, Zack, Ruby and myself Skye, for the rest of our lives.

Even now in her final weeks, Donna continues to put us first. Her selflessness never ends.

As a family we are completely heartbroken. While trying to navigate this unimaginable pain, we are also doing everything we can to keep life stable for Jacob, support Zack through his Duel Degrees in Law and Politics, help Ruby in her final years of school and Myself taking care of my brothers and sister.

Donna has spent her life giving to others. From childhood as a Red Cross Door Knocker or as a faithful P&C volunteer for 15 years or serving your children at Narraweena Public School Canteen, Teaching disabled kids to Swim at Fisher Road Special School , fighting for The Dalwood-Spilstead Centre or cheering as an excitable Mum for the Manly Junior Seabirds, or cooking cupcakes for the Arts Unit at Cromer Campus - she was always there for her community with a warm smile and open heart.

Now it’s our turn to look after her.

Mum’s final wishes are simple but meaningful:
Repair Jacobs’ pool at home so he can be helped to self regulate through these changes.
Cover ongoing medical and palliative care costs and the practical cost of a funeral.

This is the hardest thing I’ve ever had to write. Any support - whether a donation (big or small), a kind message or simply sharing this page - it would mean the world to us.

Thank you from the bottom of our broken hearts.

Your kindness will help give our Mum reassurance that we will be okay.

With eternal gratitude,
Skye ❤️
