If you know my mother, then you know that ministry is her life, her full-time job! You also know, that her car is pivotal in the work that she does. She has driven from Texas to NY, Florida, Georgia, California, the Carolinas, Virginia, Illinois, and then some.. There is NO PLACE she will not drive to “Leave her footprint in the earth and see about God’s people”, as she puts it.

While on a ministry assignment on June 22nd, at exactly 11:40 pm heading back from Houston, TX, she was in a car accident. However, she was not driving. She was a passenger, along with two others in her vehicle. The 4th person was permitted to drive the last hour allowing my mother time to rest from driving the whole day. Within the hour the designated driver then proceeded to lose control of the vehicle and collide with an 18-wheeler. This caused my mother to be covered in glass from head to toe, with multiple scratches and cuts. Another passenger had a seizure. She is now not able to drive for three months. The third passenger suffered a concussion and has reignited her back pain. All involved have endured trauma because of this. Insurance is reserving their right to NOT be responsible because the driver is not named on my Mother’s policy. As her children, we are left to deal with the fallout as this has also affected our daily lives.

My mother who is a mother to many, is not able to do the work that she is called to do… Please help get my mother back on the road.
