Hi, we live several miles out of town on a mount in NH, my husband works in town. It's the middle of winter (although we've had a mud season for Christmas, that wasn't really a better situation) and my husband is riding a bicycle to work because our van is essentially dead (and not safe on the days he can get it running). The trip down the mountain may be quicker, but it's not really safe at any time (we live on a narrow dirt road, the road he then turns on is busy and narrow as well, with no breakdown lane let alone a proper bike land, and less so with bad roads. Coming back up the "hill" is a much longer trip. Especially as it's sometimes well below freezing when he's coming home at night.

This also means he cannot get me to any doctor or other appointments Or get our dogs to the vet. Or get feed unless he can prompt the van to start again...which may end up leaving him stranded, too (he will chance it for feed, but not for me or the dogs).

We have had financial trouble and are trying desperately to get back on our feet. I am unable to work, especially after having covid this summer, which has made previous health issues worse (hopefully not forever, but I'm still struggling more). Aaron is working two jobs, both in town. I'm trying to turn our little homestead into something of a farm and craft business, but that takes time and money to do...and my health is slowing it all down.

Aaron desperately needs a vehicle than can navigate this dirt road in all seasons and as soon as possible. NH has no "Ride to Work" program because the state doesn't consider it important enough, so here you can donate a car to go to someone in MA or VT, but not a local worker desperate to get to work safely. I am hoping folks might be willing to help us out.
