Hi! My name is Becky Twigg & I am asking for your help for a good friend of my husband & I and good friend to many!!! George Young was in a traumatic on the job construction accident on Wednesday October 18, 2023.

He suffered 2 broken ribs, a ruptured spleen & after a ct scan they found out he was bleeding internally, his blood pressure dropped dramatically. He was losing a lot of blood so they started giving him blood at Guthrie County Hospital. He was lifeflighted to Mercy in Des Moines. On Thursday they found out his spleen was shattered in 3 pieces so he had surgery to remove it. He lost over 60% percent of his blood & had countless blood transfusions. He has been hooked up to everything you can think of & has many ups & many downs.

He has been in construction for over 30 years, this is the job that he depends on to live. He will have a 3 month recovery with no income coming in. George is an amazing person, friend & would give you the shirt of his back. I am asking you to please help him during this very difficult time, anything helps. He is also a volunteer firefighter in our community. George, we are all going to do everything we can to help you through this! You have many people who care about you!
