Hi everyone, I am creating this GFM out of sheer desperation as my sweet Gemma Louise needs urgent dental surgery (she keeps on getting an abscess in the area) and due to me being unemployed since May, it is impossible for me to pay for it. I don’t like asking for help but it’s my sweet little girl who is in pain and I can’t stand by and do nothing.

I know that times are tough for everyone, but if you could spare maybe $5 or $10, every little bit helps. I will set up the payments to go to the vet and stop the fundraiser as soon as it reaches its target.

I have attached the quotation and I added a little extra for meds she might need. If you could please share this post as well, I would be so grateful.

She has been my companion for many years and she is so tuned into my moods, when I am upset she will sit on my chest and push down with her weight and it truly helps with panic attacks. I don’t know what I would do without her.

PS - I have looked into assistance programs but they all work from your 2024 tax statements and mine was ok in 2024 because I was employed. They don’t take EI (employment insurance) statements. I cannot get a loan either because of my employment status.
